#linuxoutlaws on freenode

Getting involved is so much fun a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that they have to file bug reports, hack on code or write some application or code to be recognised as contributing to the Linux community and it just not true.

I started listening to Linux Outlaws podcast on about the second or third release of thier show and joined the forum a few days after that was set up.

Like everything else practice makes things better the show is improving every week the Forum is filling up with new members and now there is an IRC channel on freenode.net #linuxoutlaws

Drop in and have some fun they’re a friendly bunch where the conversation is very general with a smattering of Linux chat but its more a community of like minded people and by the very nature of communicating you’ll be contributing, there will always be someone who knows something you don’t know so fire up your XChat, Pidgin, Kopete and my favourite Irssi and head over to #linuxoutlaws.

Food fights every dinner time, bring your own buns. Laughing
