Yes, I’m finally going to FOSDEM after years of breaking my promise to people that I’d go and a failed crowdfunding campaign in an attempt to get me there I finally spent some of my children’s inheritance and booked a flight and hotel room from the Friday through to Monday morning. I’ve always viewed fosdem as “The big players” conference, from what I’ve read and heard it seems like most, if not all, the attendees are coders in one form or another which I’m not so I am a little apprehensive that I’m going to be well out on my depth. We shall see.
Earlier today, having posted that there are only 25 days to go, my mate Ade Bradshaw posted on Mastodon that I’d better choose some talks to attend as they all get full apparently. So with that in mind, here is my provisional list of choices.
